1. EXCAVATE DATA FOR DECISION, HORTON SANDBOX: HDP & HDF

Hortonworks Sandbox for Hadoop Data Platform (HDP) and Horton works Data Flow (HDF) is quick and easy personal desktop environment to get started learning, exploring, developing, testing and trying new features. This three hours workshop provides an overview of the Apache Hadoop Eco System. The HDF Sandbox is also a single node cluster for data flow and stream processing based on Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka and Apache Storm. Parton’s gain hands on experience through HDP sandbox basics, real-world examples. The workshop covers the topics from visualization framework with end user capable of displaying analytics data at different geographic levels. The data sources will be from CSV or Spark.

 2. PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS WITH RapidMiner

RapidMiner Studio is a powerful visual design environment for rapidly building complete predictive analytic workflows. This all-in-one tool features hundreds of pre-defined data preparation and machine learning algorithms to support all your data science projects. This workshop is focusing on data mining and predictive analytics with RapidMiner Studio. During this training, participant will explore few business use cases and build the analytical model with RapidMiner.  Practical exercises during the training will prepare the participants to take the knowledge gained and apply to their own respective data mining problems in the future.

3. FORENSIC ACCOUNTING USING DATA MINING TECHNIQUE

Data mining is the process of looking for trends, patterns, and anomalies within a data set, in this case will be the accounting data. Unusual data or anomalies may signal the need of further or in-depth investigation by the forensic accounting investigators.

4. GPU PROGRAMMING USING OPENACC

The GPU is the modern face of supercomputing, packing the power of many multicore machines into a single card that fits routinely into desktop machines. To take advantage of the GPU, it has to be programmed using a suitable language, one of which is OpenACC. In this course, you will learn how to accelerate code with OpenACC on GPUs and x86 CPUs. You will learn how to parallelize, profile and optimize code, as well as manage data movements and utilize multiple GPUs.

MOBILE FRAMEWORK FOR CT IMAGE


The computed tomography (CT) mobile computing is a prototype develops for creating a sinogram data from a bitmap picture and then reconstructing the sinogram data back tothe image picture. This conceptual study can be extended to the real CT scan data problems. However, mobile devices claim several boundaries such as small screen viewer size, low pixel resolution, limited available memory and processing power [1]. Mobile devices have served a new method to reach information and the mobile environment is different from a desktop computer (e.g. the screen is smaller, lower computing power)[2]. The increases and penetration of mobile devices in daily lives are transformed and invigorating end users with new experiences, but suffocate with limited computing, power and storage spaces that are predicaments for a sophisticated application required by certain practice fields [3]. Fortunately, in the last few year's exceptional renovations was engineered with mobile devices, smartphones and a tablet with upgraded multi-core processors and graphics processing cores which admitting new application possibilities [4].
The mobile app design requirement is followed formal process notation provided by Gane and Sarson. The Data Flow Diagram (DFD) method is a masterful designing tool to model the system functionality by establishing the data associated with the process for the overall system.It will offer a process view of the system as well as the decomposition view, but sink into time consuming to utilize the model [5]. The DFD is a structured analysis and design method as well as a perceivable tool to represent logic models and shows the data transformation in a system, along with decomposition of the details data flows and function, but it is not a process or procedure modeling method.
